Manual Screen Reviews

Manual Series Reviews

"This Elite Screen is absolutely outstanding! After having it for over a year and a half, it still works like the day I received it with no noticeable wear/tear. The pull down feature is very smooth and easy to angle in to place. It has a hanging hook on each side so my initial installation was super easy. Using a Mitsubishi HC1600 (1700 lumen) projector, it reflects nicely and brings out the colors beautifully. There are minor waves in the screen itself that get less noticeable over time. As a perfectionist I thought this would really bug me, but to tell you the truth I don't even notice it during video projection. Highly highly highly recommend this screen to all!"

"This screen is 120 inches wide at the bottom - that's 10 feet. The quality is great and the screen is just the right size if the projector is in the range of 13-16 feet from the screen. Would highly recommend this screen if you need good quality but don't need the more expensive motorized remote controlled model."

"Great price. Looks like a quality product. Went together well with separate wall hanging bracket. Have rolled and retracted the screen 30-40 times without incident. Picture looks great from projector."

"Works well, good retractor action, and screen makes the image sharp and bright even with a small, less bright projector."

"I have been using this screen for almost a year now and can recommend it highly. It replaces a motorized screen that broke. This was easier to mount, takes up less wall space and works well. In the time it took to find the old screen remote, I can pull this one down and be ready to use it. I just put a small piece of tape on the wall to mark the position for use and its correctly positioned every time. There was always some fussing with the motorized screen after the projector warmed up."

"I run it in a controlled light environment, but the contrast is still good when the lights are up. Screen pulls up and down easily. This is the best deal for it on the net.
Even though I took measurements, I did not fully appreciate how big 135 inches is until it arrived."

"BOOM!- May 9, 2014- We love the movies but let's be honest, who can afford a family of 5 anymore?? Especially IMAX, its crazy! Now with this crystal clear, inexpensive screen coupled with an HD projector and blu-ray, our only commute is from the stove with popcorn to the media room! Kids can be as loud as they want, get up, etc and it won't disturb anyone. Other than being an absolute challenge to hang as it is very long and require heavy duty mounting supplies, it works awesome! PLEASE do not attempt to use the hardware that came with unit as it will rip right out of the wall as the screen is heavy plus when you pull on it, you add about 30-50#'s. (hence the big dent in ours now as it fell on top of the book case.) Go to Home Depot/Lowes or whatever you have and get hardcore wall anchors that support 150#'s+, you will not be disappointed. For a bit over $100, it is awesome, awesome, awesome! It does have a plastic/pvc type smell for a few days so we left it pulle down and opened the windows...ENJOY!"

"This is truly a great screen. I just ordered and mounted the 100" screen and everything worked out flawlessly. I used the plastic drywall anchors and screws that came with the screen and it was more than enough support. I saw some people saying that two drywall anchors won't hold the screen, but that is most certainly not the case. A normal plastic anchor supports ~ 40lbs each. As for the screen itself, when it was first pulled down the edges were curled in a bit, but after leaving it down overnight they straightened out perfectly. I definitely recommend this screen to future buyers!"

"I purchased this for my basement to project onto instead of the white wall and wow, it's changed everything, the picture is so much clearer and just a brilliant buy, worth every cent and easy, easy to fit to the wall. It's heavy, so you'll need help, but you'll enjoy the picture quality as i do."

"Quality product, but didn't fit my house. Beware: The screw holes are ONLY at the far right and left side of the case, so if you have a stud you were planning on screwing into, they have to be in exactly the right place."  -Charlie
