You Might Not Need a “Short Throw” ALR Screen. Always Ask Before Buying And You’ll Do Much Better.

Always ask an expert before buying your next piece of AV gear.  This customer did just that and avoided a lot of headache.  She was sold on an Optoma UHD-60 which is a fantastic 4K resolution home theater screen.  She heard a lot of good stuff about Elite’s Aeon CLR® but figured she would ask before buying.  As it turns out, the Aeon CLR is fantastic with ultra short throw (UST) projectors…which the Optoma UHD-60 is not.  Rather than learning a hard lesson, Elite’s service team redirected the customer to an ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen that would work perfectly with her projector.  The customer, her 4K projector and ISF certified CineGrey 3D projector screen are now doing just fine, BTW.
