The Manual Grande® Series is a Large-sized manually operated retractable screen that uses a bead chain clutch system. It employs a very swift rolling mechanism that allows it to stop at any point to prevent from being raised or lowered too far.

The housing is of aluminum construction, is moisture resistant and available in a white finish. It is great for large room presentations for use in classrooms, training facilities, lecture halls, and a variety of business applications.

The MaxWhite® 1.1 Gain Front Projection material is black-backed to eliminate light penetration for enhanced brightness.  It also has black masking borders on all sides to mitigate projector overshoot while enhancing perceived visual contrast.

Q: What screens do short throw projectors work with?
Elite's non-tensioned screens are great with standard throw projectors, but just like any non-tensioned projector screen, we don’t recommend using it with an ultra/short throw projector.  Non-tensioned screens are not completely flat and while it may have little, if any, perceivable effect with a standard projector’s image, it can distort ultra/short throw imagery. We recommend purchasing Elite's tab-tensioned screens utilizing the CineWhite® or CineWhite® UHD materials or any of Elite's fixed frame screens if an ultra/short throw projector is required.

Q: Can I buy a small screen material sample?
Yes, you can buy a screen material sample by clicking here.

Q: Can I use my manual/electric Elite projection screen as a window shade to block the sunlight?
No, Elite manual and electric projection screens are not designed for use as a window curtain and should never be exposed to direct sunlight.  Prolonged exposure to solar radiation will destroy synthetic materials and such damage is not covered by our standard warranty.

Q: Is there a tripod stand for the manual screen?
A: No, the manual pull-down screen screen does not have the option to be put on a tripod stand.
