Saker Tab-Tension Series Packaging Dimensions

Q: What screens do short throw projectors work with?
Elite's non-tensioned screens are great with standard throw projectors, but just like any non-tensioned projector screen, we don’t recommend using it with an ultra/short throw projector.  Non-tensioned screens are not completely flat and while it may have little, if any, perceivable effect with a standard projector’s image, it can distort ultra/short throw imagery. We recommend purchasing Elite's tab-tensioned screens utilizing the CineWhite® or CineWhite® UHD materials or any of Elite's fixed frame screens if an ultra/short throw projector is required.

Q: Can I buy a small screen material sample?
Yes, you can buy an AcousticPro UHD screen material sample by clicking here.

Buy an MaxWhite® Fiberglass (FG) screen material sample by clicking here.

Q: Tension cord not tight on Starling Tab-Tension, Saker Tab-Tension and Spectrum Tab-Tension ?
The Tension cords on the side of the screen do perform its pull effect to reduce side curving/curling, but Starling Tab-Tension, Saker Tab-Tension and Spectrum Tab-Tension use a weaved fabric. Unlike a flexible PVC fabric that allows for stretching and pulls to create a flat and taut projection surface, such as the one used on our CineTension B Series.

Q: Can I use the AcousticPro UHD material in a room with ambient light?
A: The AcousticPro UHD performs at its best in a light controlled environment, not in a room that will have ambient light. The material is a fabric with a special weave pattern for projection use. It is suggested to go with our standard CineWhite® material if a matte white screen is needed. Or better yet, our very best CineGrey 3D® or CineGrey 5D® material will perform better with a higher gain and Angular-Reflective front projection with ambient light rejecting technology.

Q: How do I synchronize the ZU12V Universal 12 Volt Projector Trigger to my Elite electric screen?
For the instructional guide on synchronizing the ZU12V, please click here.
To watch the instructional video, please click here.

Q: Is the black top drop also “acoustic” material on the acoustically transparent models?
The entire material is made of the AcousticPro UHD, so it is transparent.

Q: Is the Saker Tab-Tension available in a black case?
The Saker Tab-Tension is available with a black case only on the Acoustic Pro AUHD Models and in Europe. The Saker Tab-Tension screens with MaxWhite® FG are only available with a white case in the United States.

Q: What is the power cable length of the Saker Tab-Tension Series Electric Screen?
The power cable length for all Saker Tab-Tension Series models is approximately 70.8" (1.8M). Note: This measurement is accurate for USA only, other countries may be equipped with different lengths for each model.
