Q: I purchased an Elite Screen in part because it is GreenGuard certified. Then the package arrived and it said Vinyl Chloride was used to make it. Am I wrong to be concerned?
Q: I purchased an Elite Screen in part because it is GreenGuard certified. Then the package arrived and it said Vinyl Chloride was used to make it. Am I wrong to be concerned?
Vinyl Chloride is used to make projection screen materials and the label on the product must be disclosed to comply with Proposition 65 by the state of California. The material has passed GREENGUARD® Gold Certification based on the limited amount of Volatile Organic Compounds released by the product. The amount of VOC’s are not concerning.
