A  customer contacted our service team with an idea but was open to options.  It turned out that the customer had a limited idea as to what would work best and how low the screen should hang.  Thanks to the various educational resources that Elite Screens has, customers can have the full story as to what screen would be best and how it should be installed.

*The discussion below is based on actual chat transcripts with the omission of any personal/confidential material to protect the customer’s privacy. An example in this case is to change the contact’s identification name/number to “Customer” or a generic name.

Transcripts:

[21:53] Customer: Hello - do you guys offer screens with custom drop?

[21:53]        Rick: Thank you for reaching out. One moment as I bring up the various product lines for you to choose from.

[21:54]        Rick: Yes, we do have a few screens that have extended drops that can be adjustable. We don't offer custom drops.  Is there a specific size you are looking for?

[21:55] Customer: Are any of those screens the in-ceiling variety, e.g. Evanesce B?

[21:56]        Rick: The evanesce series comes with 8 inch extra drop and a few models in the 12 inch drop.

[21:57] Customer: So what options offer even more drop?

[21:59]        Rick: How much of drop would be more ideal for you?

[22:01] Customer: Well, assuming a 92" diag size, 36" would be ideal. 24" minimum.

[22:01] Customer: 16:9

[22:03]        Rick: here is a recessed screen that is 90 inch diagonal with 24" drop 16:9

[22:03]        Rick: IHOME90HW2-E24

[22:03]        Rick: I have a how to video for you on optimal screen placement: https://elitescreens.com/elitetube/MountingScreen_RightHeight.mp4  I hope this can help with your selection.

[22:04] Customer: Hang on, let me check all this out.

[22:08] Customer: Interesting, I adjusted my projector to throw a 90” image on the wall and it looks pretty good.  Also, according to the video, If I have 36” drop, my screen will be too close to the floor and it won’t look good.  I wasn’t originally sold when you  recommended your IHOME90HW2-E24 but now I have more to chew on.  I may want one of your frame screens in a larger size.  I think I’ll call your sales department and go over the options.  Thanks for the additional information.

[22:09]        Rick: I’m glad to help.  Thank you for choosing Elite Screens.
