[15:50] Rick Thank you for contacting Elite Screens; how may I help you?
[15:51] Customer: What would the best acoustically transparent screen size be for a viewing distance of 11-12 feet? Also, what would be the best regular screen size be for the same distance? The screen needs to be 4K and 3D ready. Thank You
[15:52] Rick : Glad to help. According to SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers) the best screen size for optimal immersion would be 100-110” if you’d prefer a little larger, go for a 120”. We even have an educational video regarding this: https://elitescreens.com/elitetube/screen_size_edu.mp4 Our AcousticPro UHD material is ideal for sound transparency and 4K/UHD performance. Do you have a preference for fixed frame or electric “roll-up”?
[15:52] Customer: I prefer a fixed frame please.
[15:54] Rick : Excellent, here is the link for the fixed frame option. https://elitescreens.com/front/front/productdetail/product/360 It’s called the Aeon AUHD. It comes in 100” which is ideal for 11 feet and 120” which is more suitable for 12-13 feet.
[15:54] Rick : If you change your mind and decide on electric, I would recommend the Saker Tab-Tensioned AUHD https://elitescreens.com/front/front/productdetail/product/60 these are available in 100”, 110”, and 120” sizes to fit your media room.
[16:01] Rick : Here is the product page for the AcousticPro UHD material - https://elitescreens.com/front/front/productdetail/product/280
[16:01] Customer: Sounds good and I appreciate the help. Thanks.
