Large venues make up a big portion in commercial projection design. In addition to the necessity for a large screen surface, there are a lot of challenges as well. It has to look great, not good but actually deliver a phenomenal performance. It also needs to stand up to the effects of ambient lighting from a variety of sources which is abundant during  large venue presentations.

In this case, Candela La Brea is one of the hottest spots in LA’s West side. In addition to phenomenal Mexican Food, Candela provides the kind of ambience any hip meet-up place should have. This location also has a large event space that hosts a variety of corporate, wedding, concerts and other live events.

Restaurant proprietor and event coordinator, Omar Lopes  spoke highly of how a pair of  Aeon (AR180WH2) screens really brought a lot in regards to visual appeal to the venue. “We decided to buy Elite Screens simply because we wanted to project the best images and it actually came out with a higher resolution than a regular TV”.  A couple of 100” screens with good projectors still dwarf a large 84” flat panel at a fraction of the cost.  The screens in this venue gave Omar the opportunity to swap out various types of equipment depending on the various events he finds himself creating for his guests. “We love the versatility.  It comes out really clean and we haven’t had any problems.”  Omar also affirmed what Elite’s sales team hears so often from AV experts who host large events. “Since we are a venue, we have many different lights foing on throughout the night. These screens come out clean whenever light hits it.  You see a clean image every time.  I would definitely recommend it for any other restaurant, nightclub, or venue.”  From intimate home theaters to larger than live event centers, Elite will help you bring home the bigscreen one great experience at a time.
